v2.2Welcome!
Operator guide for Competitions for WooCommerce with PXS Competition Addons — admin screens, settings, Elementor widgets, and shortcodes.
How to use this guide
- Use the left navigation or On this page (right) to jump between sections.
- Elementor widgets require Elementor active and usually a template built for your competition / shop pages.
What’s new in 2.2.1
- PXS Hero Elementor widget — Minimal hero slider for the front page. Each slide uses a live competition: the product image is rendered as a
background: coverlayer with the competition title, short description and a Play now for £X CTA stacked over the top. Hover reveals previous / next arrow boxes on the left and right edges. Configure the number of competitions to show, autoplay on/off, pause between slides, transition speed, pause-on-hover, loop, arrow visibility (hover/always), dots, and whole-slide click, plus a full Style → Overlay panel with colour, opacity and an optional two-colour gradient fade. See PXS Hero. - Competitions settings tab — A new Competitions tab in PXS Competitions → Settings groups competition-specific options. The existing Enable boosted competitions master toggle has moved here from the General tab. Site-wide on/off switches for the product badges shown on competition cards (Sale, Boosted, Instant wins) also live on this tab. See Global settings.
- Referral programme — Wallet credits for referral rewards. Configure under PXS Competitions → Settings → Referrals: enable referrals, referral reward amounts, qualifying spend, referral cookie duration, and whether store-wallet checkout counts toward referrals. See Referrals.
- Referrals admin tracker — A new PXS Competitions → Referrals screen (shown when referrals are enabled) tracks every referrer and referred customer: summary cards, two charts (status and conversion funnel), a Top referrers leaderboard (top 20), an All referrers table, and a filterable referrals table with each customer’s progress, amount still needed, status, payout, and triggering order. Both tables paginate at 20 rows per page. Referral links now also record clicks. See Admin tracker.
- Cashback campaign — A single, time-limited tiered cashback promotion. Set a status (Draft / Scheduled / Active), start and end dates, one reward percentage, payout destination (site credit wallet or PXS Coins) and up to 10 spend tiers. Customers accrue qualifying spend across paid orders during the window; at the end you process payouts of percentage × the highest tier reached (not stacked). Configure under PXS Competitions → Settings → Cashback. See Cashback campaign.
- VIP Coins — Separate coin wallet accrual on qualifying competition ticket spend. Configure under Settings → Coins: enable the coin wallet, set spend-per-coin, and choose whether Woo Wallet orders earn coins. Use the PXS Coin Wallet Elementor widget on account or hub pages where needed.
- Dashboard — The modern dashboard that is the WordPress Dashboard → Home screen. It is the standard dashboard and is always on (no toggle). It shows six KPI cards (Tickets Sold, Total Revenue, Total Orders, Wallet Value, Live Competitions, Closed Competitions) with period-over-period change badges, a combined tickets & revenue chart, a competition overview, a real-data recent activity feed, an active coupon codes table, a top-competitions leaderboard, and a user overview with a new-users chart. A Last 7 / 30 / 60 / 90 / 120 days selector re-queries the whole dashboard without reloading. The classic PXS dashboard widgets and the old enable/disable toggle were removed in v2.2.1.
- Optimised backend and settings — Settings reorganised into tabs (General, Competitions, Jackpot, Checkout, Referrals, Cashback, Coins, Admin, Winner reveal, Advanced). Cleaner admin flows and consolidated options for day-to-day operation.
- Exclude wallet transactions from jackpot and coin contributions — Control whether orders paid with the store wallet (Woo Wallet) count toward the site jackpot pool and coin accrual. Jackpot: Settings → Jackpot → Wallet contributions. Coins: Settings → Coins → Coins & store wallet. Referrals have a separate wallet toggle on the Referrals tab, and the Cashback campaign has its own "include wallet spend" toggle.
- Safe Play (responsible gaming) — Customers can set a monthly competition spend limit (£0–£1000), pause playing (1 day through permanent), and hide their identity on winner feeds (masked first name + alias code). Configure under Settings → General → Safe Play; build the page with the PXS Safe Play Elementor widget. Limits and pauses are enforced at add-to-cart and checkout. Support changes via PXS Users.
- 18+ checkout confirmation — Optional age gate on checkout. Enable under Settings → Checkout → Enable 18+ checkbox on checkout. When on, customers must tick a required checkbox below the terms and conditions confirming they are aged 18 or over; confirmation is saved on the order. When off, the checkbox is hidden. See 18+ checkout confirmation.
- Boosted competitions — Prize tiers driven by ticket-sales percentage: set a base cash prize and up to three tiers on each competition product. Enable globally under Settings → Competitions → Enable boosted competitions. Use the
[pxs_boosted_prize]shortcode and the PXS Boosted Elementor widget on the storefront. See Competition products and PXS Boosted. - New operator and developer documentation — This guide (
LottoReadme) for operators, plus pluginREADME.md/CHANGELOG.md. Advanced → Developer mode enables staging tools (bulk reset on Closed Competitions, settings export) for developers.
Requirements & access
- WordPress 5.0+ and WooCommerce 4.0+.
- Competitions for WooCommerce — Required. Competition products, tickets, and draws depend on this plugin (from WooCommerce.com).
- TeraWallet — Required for store wallet, referral credits, cashback campaign payouts paid as site credit, and wallet-paid checkout options in PXS settings.
- Elementor 3.0+ optional — PXS widgets appear in the editor when Elementor is installed and active.
- Most PXS admin pages need manage_woocommerce (typically Shop Manager or Administrator).
Admin screens (detail)
Each primary PXS screen lives under the PXS Competitions menu after logging in as a shop manager. The summaries below link to the full walkthrough for each screen.
Winner Reveal
The live full-screen draw console: pick a closed competition or jackpot, enter the winning ticket number(s), run the animation, and optionally email the winner. See Winner reveals.
Closed Competitions
History of closed draws. Reopen a locked reveal, delete a PXS winner row (the underlying orders are untouched), or use the optional developer bulk reset on staging. See Managing closed draws.
Jackpots
Create and manage timed, sales-linked jackpots that power the PXS Jackpot widget. See Jackpots.
Referrals v2.2.1
A read-only tracker for the referral programme, shown directly after Jackpots while referrals are enabled. It reports who is sharing links, how their referrals are progressing, and who has been paid. See Admin tracker.
Instant Win Generator
Build CSV files of ticket numbers and instant prizes for import into Competitions for WooCommerce. See Instant win generator.
Prize Claims
Admin view of customers claiming the main prize vs the cash alternative, with status and linked order/competition. See Prize claims.
Dashboard v2.2.1
The WordPress Dashboard → Home screen is the main PXS dashboard. It is always on and replaces the old dashboard widgets. It shows KPI cards, tickets and revenue charts, competition overview, recent activity, active coupon codes, top competitions, and user overview, with a date range selector for 7 / 30 / 60 / 90 / 120 days.
Health Dashboard v2.2.1
The optional Dashboard → Health Dashboard screen is enabled from PXS Competitions → Settings → Admin → Competition Health Dashboard. It shows an Overall Health Score, health KPIs for every live competition, sell-through bars, time remaining, a health distribution chart, and insights.
Health bands (based on % of tickets sold): Excellent is above 70% sold, Good is 40–70%, Moderate is 25–40%, and Low is under 25%. Each band is further split into three sub-statuses on the per-competition badges (for example Low → Very Low / Low / Moderately Low, Excellent → Excellent / Outstanding / Exceptional) so the label sharpens as sales move through the band.
Overall Health Score — a single 0–100 score, shown as a credit-score-style gauge at the top of the page. Each competition is scored on a 50/50 blend of level (raw % sold) and pace (sold vs. what would be expected by now for a linear sell-out by the end date; pace only counts once 10% of the run has elapsed, and falls back to level when there is no start/end date). Those per-competition scores are then averaged, weighted by ticket-pool size, so larger raffles count for more. The score maps to the same bands: 70–100 Excellent, 40–70 Good, 25–40 Moderate, 0–25 Low.
Global settings (Settings screen) v1.0.0
Open PXS Competitions → Settings. Sections may include (names vary by version):
Settings are organised in tabs: General, Competitions, Jackpot, Checkout, Referrals, Cashback, Coins, Admin, Winner reveal, and Advanced.
- General — Ticket count view (count vs %), manual picking highlight, Safe Play My Account page selector, claim prize visibility window.
- Competitions v2.2.1 — Competition-specific options grouped on one tab:
- Boosted competitions — Master Enable boosted competitions toggle (moved here from the General tab). When off, the boosted fields on the product editor and all boosted badges / widgets are hidden site-wide.
- Product tags — Global on/off tick-boxes for the badges shown on competition products: Sale, Boosted, Instant wins. The PXS Live Competitions widget (and any other widget that surfaces product tags) checks these switches before rendering each tag, so a tag can be turned off site-wide in one place. Individual widgets can still hide a tag locally even when it is enabled here. Defaults: all three on.
- Jackpot — Sale contribution % and wallet order contributions.
- Checkout — Enable 18+ checkbox on checkout; cart hold countdown; redirect after checkout (order complete page).
- Referrals — Enable referrals, referral reward amount, qualifying spend, referral cookie duration, store-wallet eligibility, and the optional My Account Referrals page selector.
- Cashback v2.2.1 — Single time-limited tiered cashback campaign: status, start/end dates, reward percentage, payout destination (site credit or PXS Coins), include-wallet-spend toggle, up to 10 spend tiers, plus payout preview and processing.
- Coins — Coin wallet accrual and spend-per-coin rate.
- Admin — WooCommerce orders/users list column options, plus a Competition Health Dashboard v2.2.1 toggle. The WordPress Dashboard → Home screen is the modern PXS dashboard v2.2.1 (standard, always on).
- Winner reveal — Live draw branding, colours, and winner email templates.
- Advanced — Developer mode (bulk reset UI on Closed Competitions, settings export). A banner appears at the top of Settings when developer mode is on.
18+ checkout confirmation v2.2.0
Under Settings → Checkout → Age verification, turn on Enable 18+ checkbox on checkout when you need customers to confirm they meet the minimum age before completing a purchase.
- When enabled — A required checkbox appears on the WooCommerce checkout page directly below the agree-to-terms-and-conditions checkbox. Label: I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older. Checkout is blocked until it is ticked.
- When disabled — No age checkbox is shown and no age validation runs.
- Order records — A successful checkout stores confirmation on the order (for audit/support).
WooCommerce must have the terms and conditions checkbox enabled for the age checkbox to appear in the usual position (below terms). If terms are turned off site-wide, the age checkbox still appears before the Place order button.
Competition products v1.0.0
Create and maintain competition products in Products → Add New (or edit existing). Choose product type Competition (Competitions for WooCommerce), then complete catalogue details and the competition / PXS panels below. Duplicate an existing competition to copy ticket rules and PXS fields.
PXS adds the following fields to the competition product editor:
- Cash alternative — Offer a cash option instead of the physical prize; works with Claim Prize flows and Cash Alternative widget.
- Featured Competition — Flags the product for special card styling on Live / Related competition grids.
- Hero Competition v2.2.1 — Adds the product to the PXS Hero slider when its Sort by control is set to Manual. Lets operators choose exactly which competitions appear in the front-page hero, regardless of date or featured status.
- Quick select — Enable preset ticket bundles and tier discounts for the Quick Select widget.
- Boosted competition (when enabled globally) — Mark the product as boosted, set a base cash prize, and up to three ticket-sales percentage tiers with prize amounts. Drives the PXS Boosted widget, boosted badges, bar tier markers, and
[pxs_boosted_prize].
Competition settings
Store-wide competition behaviour from Competitions for WooCommerce and PXS Competitions → Settings (ticket bar mode, Competitions tab for the boosted master switch and product tag switches, checkout, etc.). Set these before publishing individual competitions.
Adding new competition
Steps to add a new competition product: title, publish status, and competition type. Duplicate an existing competition to copy ticket rules and PXS fields.
Competition images
Product image, gallery, and any card/thumbnail assets used on Live Competitions and single-product templates.
Competition categories
Assign WooCommerce categories/tags so competitions appear in the right shop grids and filters.
Competition descriptions
Long description, short description, and any Elementor body content for the competition landing page.
Competition product data
The competition data panel on the product edit screen: ticket pricing, limits, draw window, winners, and PXS options (featured, cash alternative, quick select, boosted tiers, instant wins).
Price
Ticket price and any sale pricing rules for the competition product.
Min / max tickets
Minimum tickets required for the draw to run and maximum tickets available before the competition is sold out.
Tickets per user
Per-customer ticket cap for the competition (where supported by Competitions for WooCommerce).
Winners
Number of main-draw winners whether in manual or auto picking.
Manual picking winners
When manual picking is enabled, winning ticket numbers are chosen in Winner Reveal after the competition closes instead of being drawn automatically. Set this on the competition product before go-live if your process requires a live or staged manual draw.
Start & end dates
When the competition opens for entries and when it closes (feeds countdown widgets and “closed” state).
Options
General competition options from Competitions for WooCommerce (e.g. skill question, manual draw flags — labels depend on your extension version).
Featured competitions v2.0.0
PXS Featured competition flag for highlighted cards on Live / Related grids.
Hero competition v2.2.1
Tick Hero competition (directly under Featured competition in the PXS widgets options panel) to add the product to the PXS Hero slider when that widget's Sort by control is set to Manual. Manual mode shows only Hero-flagged competitions — full editorial control over which products appear in the front-page hero. Use the Products list drag handles (menu order) to control their sequence, or pick a different Manual order option on the widget.
Cash alternatives
Tick Offer cash alternative so winners can take a fixed cash payout instead of the main prize. Enter the cash alternative amount in your store currency (for example £100)—this is what you are offering if they decline the physical prize. The amount is shown on the product via the PXS Cash Alternative widget and used again when they claim through Prize Claims / the Claim Prize flow after a win.
Quick selection
Tick Enable quick select boxes so the PXS Quick Select widget can appear on the competition template. Configure four preset buttons (Box 1–4): for each, set how many tickets are added to the cart when a customer taps that button, and an optional discount % off the line total for that bulk buy. Leave discount at 0 for no reduction. The widget syncs quantity with PXS Add to Cart when a box is chosen.
Boosted competitions v2.1.0
Mark the product as boosted and set a base cash prize (the prize shown before any tier is reached). Add up to three tiers: each tier has a ticket sales % (sold ÷ max tickets) and a cash prize amount. As sales climb, the displayed prize updates to the highest tier the competition has passed. Requires Enable boosted competitions in Settings → Competitions.
Instant wins
Instant-win prizes and ticket mapping on the product (or via imported CSV from the Instant Win generator).
Jackpots v2.0.0
Jackpot overview
The PXS Competitions → Jackpots screen manages site-wide prize pools that grow from qualifying sales (and optionally wallet orders). Active jackpots power the PXS Jackpot Elementor widget; global sale % is set under Settings → Jackpot.
Jackpot settings
Configure sale contribution % and whether TeraWallet (store wallet) orders count toward the pool under Settings → Jackpot.
Adding jackpots
On PXS Competitions → Jackpots, use Create jackpot to set a title and start / end date and time. The prize fund is not set here—it grows automatically from qualifying competition orders at the sale percentage in Settings → Jackpot. Only one scheduled or live jackpot can exist at once; close or wait for the current one to end before adding another.
Editing jackpots
Update amounts, dates, or status on an existing jackpot; pause or close when needed.
Viewing contributions
Review orders or lines that added to the jackpot total (audit trail for operators).
Prize claims v2.0.0
Claim overview
PXS Competitions → Prize Claims lists customer claims after a win: main prize vs cash alternative, status, and linked order/competition. Use this screen for day-to-day fulfilment and support.
Prize claim system
How customers submit claims (Claim Prize widget / account flow) and how claim visibility days work (Settings → General → Claim prize).
Maintaining claims
Update claim status, notes, and hand-off to fulfilment; align with your internal prize-dispatch process.
Winner reveals
Reveal overview
Winner Reveal is the live draw console: pick a closed competition or jackpot, enter winning ticket number(s), run the animation, and optionally email the winner. Branding and email copy are under Settings → Winner reveal.
Competition draws
Run the main-draw reveal for a single competition product after entries have closed.
Jackpot draws
Reveal a jackpot winner when a site jackpot closes or reaches its target.
Managing closed draws
Closed Competitions history: reopen a locked reveal, delete a PXS winner row (orders unchanged), or use developer bulk reset on staging.
Instant win generator v2.0.0
Instant win overview
Instant Win Generator builds CSV files of ticket numbers and instant prizes for import into Competitions for WooCommerce. Use for large instant-win matrices instead of entering tickets manually on each product.
Instant win settings
Generator options: prize columns, ticket ranges, and export format before download.
Instant win usage
Typical workflow: generate CSV → import or attach to competition → verify on product and Instant Tickets Table widget.
PXS Coins v2.2.0
Coins overview
VIP Coins accrue on qualifying competition ticket spend (separate from store wallet / site credit). Global rules live under Settings → Coins; customers see balances via the coin wallet widget and account areas you configure.
Coins settings
Enable coin wallet, set spend-per-coin, and choose whether wallet-paid orders earn coins.
User balances
View or adjust customer coin balances (admin tools or user profile integrations, depending on your setup).
Referrals v2.2.0
Overview
Referrals let customers share a referral code or link. When a referred customer registers and reaches the qualifying competition ticket spend, both the referrer and the referred customer receive a wallet credit.
- Referrer — The existing customer who shares their referral link/code.
- Referee — The new customer who signs up using the referral link/code.
- Reward — A store-wallet credit paid to both people once the referred customer qualifies.
- Qualification — Based on cumulative paid competition ticket spend, across one or more qualifying orders.
The customer-facing block explains what each person gets, how to qualify, provides copy/share buttons, and shows progress for both the referred customer and the referrer’s invited friends.
Settings
Open PXS Competitions → Settings → Referrals.
- Enable referrals — Turns on referral wallet credits.
- Referral reward amount — Wallet credit paid to both the referrer and referee when the referral qualifies.
- Referral qualifying ticket spend — Minimum cumulative competition ticket spend the referred customer must reach before rewards are paid.
- Referrals & store wallet — Choose whether orders paid with the store wallet count toward referral qualifying spend and bonuses.
- Referral link cookie (days) — How long a visitor’s
?ref=code is remembered before registration. - My Account Referrals page — Optional page selector. Pick the WordPress page that contains the PXS Referral Elementor widget to control the layout and styling shown inside My Account.
Setup & My Account
- Create a WordPress page for referrals, for example My Referrals.
- Edit the page with Elementor and add the PXS Referral widget (see widget guide).
- Use the widget Style tab to style each section: box, heading, intro, reward cards, steps, share controls, progress bars, panels, tracker stats, table, chips, and guest text.
- Publish the page.
- Open PXS Competitions → Settings → Referrals and choose that page as My Account Referrals page.
- Save settings. Permalinks refresh automatically so the My Account endpoint works.
When a page is selected, customers see Referrals in the WooCommerce My Account menu. Clicking it loads the selected page’s PXS Referral widget inside My Account at /my-account/referrals/; the account menu stays visible.
Leave the page selector on — Default: built-in referral block — to use the default inline referral layout instead of an Elementor-built page.
/my-account/referrals/ to confirm the Elementor styling and copy/share buttons load correctly.Customer flow
- The logged-in referrer opens My Account → Referrals.
- They copy their referral code, copy the referral link, or use the native Share… button on supported devices.
- The friend opens the link. The
?ref=code is stored in a cookie for the configured number of days. - The friend registers. The referral code is captured automatically from the cookie, or can be entered in the optional referral-code field on registration.
- The friend buys competition tickets. Qualifying paid order totals are added together until the minimum spend is reached.
- Once the threshold is met, the referral reward is credited to both wallets automatically.
The customer does not need to redeem a coupon code at checkout. The referral is attached at registration and rewards are processed automatically when qualifying paid orders are handled.
Referral tracker
The PXS Referral widget can show two types of progress depending on the logged-in customer:
- Your welcome bonus — Shown when the current customer was referred by someone else. The progress bar shows how much they have spent of the qualifying spend target.
- Your referral tracker — Shown when the current customer has referred friends. It lists invited friends, qualified referrals, in-progress referrals, and total earned.
In the friend-by-friend table, the progress line is written as amount spent of target. Example: £3.00 spent of £10.00. The status chip shows whether the bonus is paid, processing, or not yet qualified.
Admin tracker v2.2.1
Open PXS Competitions → Referrals. This screen appears directly after Jackpots in the menu and is only shown while Enable referrals is on. It gives a complete view of everyone who has shared their referral link and has a referral in progress or completed.
The top of the page shows summary cards:
- Active referrers — Customers who have referred at least one person.
- Total sign-ups — Customers who registered through a referral.
- In progress — Referred customers who have not yet been paid.
- Completed — Referred customers whose bonus has been paid.
- Link clicks — Visits arriving via a referral link or code (de-duplicated per visitor for the cookie lifetime).
- Click → sign-up — Sign-ups as a percentage of clicks.
- Total paid out — Wallet credit paid across all completed referrals (both the referrer and the referee are credited).
Below the cards are two charts: a referral status doughnut (completed vs in progress) and a conversion funnel (clicks → sign-ups → completed).
Three tables follow:
- Top referrers — A ranked leaderboard of the top 20 referrers with their clicks, sign-ups, in-progress and completed counts, conversion rate, and total earned.
- All referrers — Every sharer with their link clicks, sign-ups, in-progress and completed counts, and total earned. Use the Sign-ups link to filter the referrals table to just that referrer. Paginated at 20 per page.
- Referrals — Each referred customer with a live progress bar (amount spent of target), the amount still needed, a status badge (Completed, Qualified — pending, or In progress), the reward paid, and a link to the order that triggered the payout. Filter by status (all / in progress / completed), search by name, or filter by a single referrer. Paginated at 20 per page.
Cashback campaign v2.2.1
Overview
A cashback campaign is a single, time-limited promotion that rewards customers for how much they spend during a set window. Only one campaign is configured at a time.
- Spend tiers — Up to 10 spend thresholds (for example £10, £25, £50). Each tier is just an amount the customer must reach.
- One reward percentage — A single percentage set at the campaign level.
- Highest tier wins — At the end of the campaign each customer is paid percentage × the highest tier threshold they reached. Tiers are not stacked. Reaching no tier pays nothing.
- Cumulative spend — Qualifying spend is added up across all of the customer’s paid orders dated within the campaign window.
- Payout destination — Pay rewards as site credit (store wallet) or as PXS Coins.
Settings
Open PXS Competitions → Settings → Cashback.
- Status — Draft (off, no spend counted or paid), Scheduled or Active (the campaign runs between the start and end dates). A badge shows whether the campaign is Live, Scheduled, or Ended.
- Start date / End date — Orders dated between these dates (inclusive) count toward the campaign.
- Cashback (%) — The single percentage applied to the highest tier a customer reaches.
- Pay cashback as — Site credit (wallet) credits the store wallet; PXS Coins credits the coin balance using your coin rate.
- Wallet spend — When off, money spent using site credit (store wallet) does not count toward the tiers. Tick the box to include wallet-paid orders.
- Spend tiers — Add from 1 up to 10 thresholds. Customers are paid on the highest threshold their qualifying spend reaches.
Payouts
Cashback is paid at the end of the campaign, not after each order. The flow is:
- Save the campaign settings.
- Click Preview eligible payouts to see each qualifying customer, their cumulative qualifying spend, the tier they reached, and the cashback due. A projected total is shown at the bottom.
- After the campaign end date passes, the Process payouts button becomes available. Click it to credit every eligible customer.
Payouts are idempotent — each customer is paid once per campaign window, so re-running Process payouts will not double-credit anyone. Customers already paid show as Paid in the preview.
Customer view (My Account)
While a campaign is configured (Scheduled, Active, or Ended), logged-in customers see a Cashback tab in My Account (/my-account/cashback/). It shows their spend so far in the window, the cashback earned at the highest tier reached, how much more to spend to reach the next tier, the full tier table with reached/locked status, and when the cashback pays out. Progress is calculated live from their order history.
Safe Play v2.2.0
Overview
Safe Play (also labelled My Self Play on the storefront) gives logged-in customers responsible-gaming controls for competition ticket purchases. It does not affect non-competition products.
- Pause playing — Block competition entries for a chosen period (1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 1 year, or permanent).
- Monthly spending limit — Cap competition ticket spend per calendar month (£0 = no limit, up to £1000).
- Hide identity — Replace the customer’s public name on instant-winner and main-draw winner displays with a masked form (first name + 8-character alias, e.g. Stephen S9WG8M7P).
When a pause is active or a purchase would exceed the monthly limit, WooCommerce shows an error and blocks add-to-cart / checkout for competition products only.
Setup & My Account
- In Elementor, create or edit a WordPress page and add the PXS Safe Play widget (see widget guide). Style it on the widget Style tab as needed.
- Publish the page.
- Open PXS Competitions → Settings → General and under Safe Play, choose that page as My Account Safe Play page.
- Save settings. Permalinks refresh automatically so the My Account endpoint works.
When a page is selected, customers see a Safe Play item in the WooCommerce My Account menu (usually after the wallet link). The page content is embedded inside My Account at /my-account/safe-play/ — the left account menu stays visible; duplicate page titles from the theme are hidden on that tab.
Leave the setting on — Disabled: hide from My Account — to turn off the menu item entirely. You can still place the widget on any public page for a standalone Safe Play URL.
/my-account/safe-play/ while logged in to confirm styles load (Elementor post CSS is injected for that tab).Customer controls
Pause playing
Customers choose a period with a slider and click Activate pause. Once set, the pause cannot be changed or removed from the storefront — they must contact support. While paused, they cannot add competition tickets to the cart or checkout.
- Timed pauses show an active notice with the end date.
- Permanent pause stays until cleared in admin.
Monthly spending limit
Limit applies to paid competition line totals in the current calendar month (store timezone). The page shows Spent this month and the current limit.
- Decreases (including setting a lower cap) apply immediately.
- Increases take 24 hours before the higher limit applies; a pending message shows the effective date.
- No limit is slider position 0 (£0).
Enforcement includes items already in the cart: if spent + cart competition total would exceed the limit, checkout is blocked with a message showing how much remains this month.
Hide identity
When enabled, the customer’s name on Recent Instant Winners, Recent Drawn Winners, Winner name, and related feeds uses the masked alias. An example preview is shown before they save.
Once enabled, the toggle is locked on the storefront; only support (via PXS Users) can turn it off.
Admin & support
Open PXS Users in the WordPress sidebar (groups icon). Search for the customer, then Edit to open their profile. The Safe Play panel lets staff:
- Pause playing — Set or clear any pause period (including ending a permanent pause).
- Monthly spending limit — Set 0–1000; admin changes apply immediately (no 24-hour delay).
- Hide identity — Enable or disable; view the customer’s permanent alias code.
Use this screen for support requests when customers cannot change locked settings themselves.
Elementor widgets (full list)
In Elementor, open the panel and search PXS or browse General / WooCommerce categories. Below: widget title in the editor, where operators typically place it, and what to configure first.
